What KitID is
KitID identifies tactical and shooting-sports gear in photos and helps you learn about and source it. Identifications are AI-generated best guesses with confidence scores — treat them as informational, not authoritative.
Firearms are information only
We identify firearms for informational purposes. KitID does not sell, broker, or provide purchase links for firearms — only for gear and accessories.
Not professional advice
Nothing here is legal, safety, medical, or professional advice. Verify armor ratings, specs, and legality with manufacturers and your local laws before relying on anything.
Who can use it
You must be 18 or older. Don't use KitID to surveil, target, harass, or identify any individual — we analyze equipment, never people. Don't upload content you don't have the right to, or anything illegal.
Affiliate links
"Where to buy" links point to third-party retailers. Some of these may become affiliate links, meaning KitID could earn a commission at no extra cost to you. When that's the case, we disclose it. We only ever recommend based on the gear, never a payout.
Accounts & changes
You're responsible for your account. We may update these terms as the product grows; continued use means you accept the current version. Provided "as is," without warranty, to the extent the law allows.
