We don't sell your data
Full stop. We never sell or share your personal information. If we ever publish market insights, they're aggregate-only (large groups, nothing that identifies you).
What we collect
Your email (to run your account), the photos you upload (to identify gear), and your scan results plus any confirmations or corrections you make.
Your photos
We strip location/EXIF data from uploads. Photos are analyzed to identify equipment — never to identify, profile, or recognize people. Your corrections help improve accuracy for everyone.
AI processing
Identification and content moderation are performed with the help of Anthropic's models. Content is checked before it's processed; anything inappropriate is rejected.
Your control
You must be 18+. You can permanently delete your account and all your data anytime, yourself, from your Account page — it removes your scans, photos, saved kits, and corrections. You can also email us if you prefer.
